NORFO AUTOMATIC BLOCK SAWING LINE

The system consists of the following units:

1. Automatic Saw Band

Developed for cutting frozen blocks. The Norfo line is complete with a feeding conveyor,

in which a standard 7.54kg block is placed and then automatically fed to the cutting

table and vertical belt knife. The blocks are held firmly in position by adjustable flaps.

Blocks are cut with high precision. Automatic functions are controlled by the PLC CPU.

Automatic Band Saw:

2. Multi Band Saw

The saw has up to 6 thin blades and can be adjusted for cutting logs into 2-7 slabs. The

blade tensioning is individual and the saw automatically stops at blade fracture.

The saw is fed with logs from the NORFO Automatic Band Saw or feeder.

The NORFO Multi Band Saw has a self-adjusted blade guide, to make a quick safe

change between different productions possible.
